4. Donations and Financial Contributions

100% of your donation goes directly to our programs in child poverty, water, sanitation, hygiene, food donations and education.

4.1 Donation Processing

When making a donation through our Services, you agree that:

  • Voluntary Nature: All donations are voluntary and made at your own discretion
  • Non-Refundable: Donations are generally non-refundable unless required by law or in cases of processing errors
  • Accurate Information: You will provide accurate payment and contact information
  • Authorization: You authorize us to charge your designated payment method
  • Tax Receipts: Tax receipts will be issued in accordance with Ghana tax laws

4.2 Use of Donations

Your donations will be used to support our mission and programs, including but not limited to:

  • Child Poverty
  • Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
  • Food Donations
  • Education

5. Volunteering and Partnership

5.1 Volunteer Participation

If you register to volunteer with the Foundation:

  • Application Process: You agree to complete our volunteer application and screening process
  • Background Checks: You consent to any required background checks or verifications
  • Code of Conduct: You agree to adhere to our volunteer code of conduct and ethical guidelines
  • No Employment Relationship: Volunteering does not create an employment relationship
  • Insurance: You are responsible for your own insurance coverage during volunteer activities
  • Safety: You agree to follow all safety protocols and instructions provided

5.2 Partnership Opportunities

Organizations or individuals interested in partnering with us should:

  • Submit a formal partnership proposal through our contact channels
  • Await approval and execution of a separate partnership agreement
  • Comply with all terms specified in the partnership agreement
  • Respect our brand guidelines and reputation

6.      Program Operation

6.1 Eligibility for Programs

Participation in our programs (housing etc.) is subject to:

  • Meeting specific eligibility criteria for each program
  • Completing required application and documentation
  • Verification of information provided
  • Available resources and program capacity
  • Compliance with program rules and requirements

6.2 Beneficiary Obligations

Program beneficiaries agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in all applications
  • Use program benefits solely for their intended purposes
  • Participate in program evaluations and impact assessments
  • Allow us to share anonymized success stories and testimonials
  • Notify us of any changes in circumstances that may affect eligibility

6.3 Program Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any program at any time
  • Change eligibility requirements or program terms
  • Terminate participation for violation of program rules
  • Prioritize beneficiaries based on need and available resources

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Content

All content on our Services, including but not limited to text, logos, media, audio, software and compilations, is the property of Amados Charity Foundation or our licensors and is protected by Ghana and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Protected content includes:

  • The Amados Charity Foundation name, logo, and branding
  • Website design, layout, and user interface
  • Program descriptions, reports, and publications
  • Multimedia content
  • Marketing materials and promotional content

7.2 Limited License

You may:

  • View and access content for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Share links to our website on social media
  • Print or download content for personal reference

You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without permission
  • Modify, create derivative works, or reverse engineer our Services
  • Use our trademarks or branding without written authorization
  • Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

8.      Prohibited Conduct

Fraudulent Activity

System Interference

Interfering with, disrupting, or creating undue burden on our Services or networks

Automated Access

Using bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access our Services without permission

Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data

Reverse Engineering

Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering our Services

Spam and Harassment

  • Business interruption or loss of goodwill

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amados Charity Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

Defense of Claims

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Specifically, these Terms are subject to:

  • The Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, 1992
  • The Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843)
  • The Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772)
  • Other applicable Ghana laws and regulations

11.2 Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ghana. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objections to jurisdiction or venue.

11.3 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms:

  • Step 2 - Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation

We reserve the right to:

13.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. Only you and Amados Charity Foundation have rights under these Terms.

13.6 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, pandemics, or government actions.

13.7 Language

These Terms are written in English. Any translations provided are for convenience only. In the event of any conflict between the English version and a translation, the English version shall prevail.

13.8 Headings

The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
