WHAT WE DO IN ACF

DID YOU KNOW?

  • One in every five children in Ghana experience stunted growth due to inadequate nourishment

  • One in five people (3 years or older) have never attended school (17% males and 24.4% females)

  • Poor water quality in rural areas is a major contributing factor to children’s malnutrition, therefore severely affecting their health and immune systems

  • A child in Ghana is 40% more likely to live in poverty than an adult - more than 3.5 million children in Ghana are poor

CHILD POVERTY

73% of children in Ghana face multi-dimensional deprivation: poor nutrition, limited education, lack of access to clean water.

Our initiative: Blending together all focus points to provide pivotal change to young children through resources acquired from donations.

WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE

Our initiative: We’re working to ensure there is provision for children to have access to clean water sanitation and hygiene. Everyone deserves to have a vibrant health and clean environment.

FOOD DONATIONS

Our initiative: Our volunteer team and ACF members aim to help provide children with healthy nutritional meals for a healthy life.

EDUCATION

Our initiative: We are dedicated to improving children's specific educational needs by targeting skill development for both advantaged and disadvantaged groups. We want children to keep learning whilst strengthening their future opportunities.
